Star Dust

Well yes, I do love science. I guess you could say that science is the only thing I think one can feel unconditional love for. When I did my master’s in physics I often felt like I was in a chaotic emotional relationship with a very passionate … lover? :p Allow me to elaborate: I really loved what i was doing. At the same time, I had to be good enough and live up to the expectations of “the other party”. I often messed up, got confused, got frustrated, wanted to give up, broke out and came back. Physics was sorta always there for me, no matter how badly I had misunderstood or how mad I had been, it was always waiting for me to come back, to understand and to continue developing. Science doesn’t get mad, depend on what you believe or want; if you do the correct things, you get the right answers. No.matter.what. that’s what I call unconditional and dependable.

And with it, we can improve our lives

I think that science changes the way your mind works
To think a little more deeply about things

Science replaces private predjudice
With publicly verifiable evidence
