Is there a mental language?
Do we think in words, structures, images, shapes, emotions, geometry,…?
If we do in fact think in a language (which I don’t think we do), how is it that children are able to learn a first language?
Why can computers learn syntax and rules way better than us, but are probably conseptually incapable of learning sense?
Go into a random library, pick up a random book, and read a random sentence.
Chances are you will be unable to find that exact same sentence in another book.
Do people who have high syntactical skills think more or deeper than others?
Do our inner monologues affect our feelings and thought patterns?
